Bass and Vocals

It's really a sex type thing with me you know, playing the bass guitar is such a sexual experience, I mean come on! They're SO sexy and you can feel it in your guts when you're playin' the groove. The thing is there are a lot of basses out there to play, but for my money there isn't one that compares to a Gibson Thunderbird.............The sound can be like a piece of artillery! There's a low end growl like nothin' else. Beyond sound they have a shape that transcends any style, plus a long sexy neck that fits my hands easily. When I can really crank up my amp and slip into the pocket with the drums that's when I'm happy........okay, it's like an orgasm, just not so messy.

I played a lot when I was a little younger and didn't have such discerning taste. Jeez, it leaves you with an assortment of basses...you know, what was trendy at the time. Long ago I played Rickenbackers. They had a moment in the sun, but looking back on it they just didn't have the punch...you know, right in the stomach...that a T-bird does.

Then there's the sex........it's like that old song by the SWEET, ACDC "She's got girls, girls all over the world, she's got men, every now and then!"
